Consider the circuit of the figure is. The $\text{op amp}$ used is ideal.

  1. In which mode is the $\text{BJT}$ operating (i.e. active, saturation or cut off)? Justify your answer.
  2. Obtain an expression relating the output current $\mathrm{I}_0$ and the input voltage $\mathrm{V}_i$
  3. Determine $\mathrm{I}_0$ and $\mathrm{V}_{op}$ if $\mathrm{V}_i=2$ volt ( $\mathrm{V}_{o p}$ : output of opamp)

(Assume $\beta=99$ and $\mathrm{V}_{\mathrm{BE}}=0.7 \mathrm{~V}$ )
