When you solved one, then only did that one. (Don't be happy by solving 50%, PYQ by self, 50% understood by solution.) 3. 📝 Make proper plan + Give test series after revision (short notes). 4. 📊 Test series is always for evaluation & improvement whether good or low marks + luck matters (on the day). 5. 🧐 Evaluate your weak/strong topics/subjects which give you hard times → Revise/practice & give SWT more. 6. 🚫 Don't overconfident about preparation, work hard always. **Avoid Laziness:** 1. 🚶‍♂️ The place in which you need to think hard and work smart (means... Then start by using the simple and written concept method or sentence written in the sticky pages. **Cyclic Revision:** 1. 🔄 Sub A Revise 2. 📝 Sub A Test Series 1 3. 🔍 Sub A Analysis 4. 🔄 Sub B Revise 5. 📝 Sub B Test Series 1 6. 🔍 Sub B Analysis 7. 🔄 Sub C Revise 8. 📝 Sub C Test Series 1 & Sub B Test Series 2 **How to Attempt Questions:** - **Perform**: 🎯 Success - **Work on Weakness**: 🧐 Analyze **Type of Notes:** 1. 📚 Comprehensive Notes (2-3 copies) 2. 📝 Short Notes (All topics short-form) (10-12 pages) 3. 🗒️ Micro Notes (Only relevant formulas) (9-5) 4. 📝 Exam-focused Notes (PYQ needed formulas) (2) **While Solving PYQ:** - ✍️ Write down the important topics & formulas (in exam notes). - 🔍 Don’t find only the correct option but also prove why other options are wrong. **Test Planning (Before):** 1. 📖 Revise Subject Concept 2. 📝 Along with practice QnA 3. 📚 Solve PYQ (Previous Year Questions) topic-wise 4. 📝 Along with, give topic-wise test after revising topics **Plan for Quick 📚 Revision of Concept:** - 🤔 Revise in a smart way, it means for e.g. in algo D&C you can understand the concept by using only the recurrence relation so you don't need to study it deeply. - 📚 Revise deeply only the relevant topics as per PYQ. - 📝 Write the procedure of each important concept in your words in a simplified and small format, in a page. So that you can revise it fastly. This plan can help you revise concepts efficiently and effectively! **Test Analysis:** 1. ✅ First priority is accuracy - 📝 On scribble pad, solve each step properly with proper numbering. - 🚫 If stuck, leave blank space and go forward. - 🎯 Aim for 15/20 accuracy on first attempt. 2. 📊 Find accuracy percentage on attempted questions. 3. 🧐 Identify incorrect answers as conceptual or calculation mistakes. 4. 📝 Make mistake notes. 5. ❌ Incorrect and unattempted questions: open scribble pad, recheck, solve again without looking at the actual solution. 6. 📅 Write test info on progression table. 7. ✍️ Note good questions and new concepts. **Note:** 📝 During revision, if you get some new concept from PYQ, then write it down in the PYQ notes book (Notebook). **Way to Approach Test:** **Phase 1:** 📚 Only solve those questions which are in your mind (max 2-3 minutes). **Phase 2:** 🤔 Solve left-over questions whose concept or way of solving you already know (max 5-6 minutes). **Phase 3:** 🕐 Solve remaining questions (7-10 minutes). **Note:** ⏳ Target to solve the paper half an hour before the ending of time (in mock tests). **Last 2-3 Months Plan:** 1. 📚 Give test series (mocks) & do revision only. 2. 🚫 Don’t give test series without prior revision (SWT). 3. 📝 Every time you revise, keep making smaller & more concise notes. 4. 🧐 While revising before the test, revise short notes only. If any topic is not remembered, go through only that particular topic (half-day revise + half-day for test). **Note:** ⏰ The time interval in which you have the actual GATE exam, you should not be sleeping during that time interval. **Last 1 Month Plan:** 1. 📖 Revision → Test Series → PYQ 2. 📚 Revise those topics which give you a hard time. 3. 📑 Do revise in too much detail and too quickly as early as possible. 4. 🚫 Don’t be biased on pattern (1-25 numerical). 5. 📅 Make a table of, e.g., CM header, decisionality, closure. 6. 🥗 Take care of your health (take sunlight to avoid sleep). 7. 🧘‍♂️ July → pressure, relax, control. 8. 🌙 Before one day, give rest to your mind, only revise exam notes & not other things. **Correct Way of Attempting Questions:** 1. 👀 Read the whole question twice. 2. 📝 Write down given data along with units. 3. ✍️ Write what is asked in the question (write required formula and unit). 4. 📏 Put values in the formula with units. 5. ➗ Basic step of division. 6. 🧮 Solve smartly (full numbers). 7. ✅ Remove careless mistakes. 8. 🔄 Review test series. 9. 📊 Analyze mistakes made. 10. 📖 Go through test series and solve again. 11. 💪 Practice makes perfect. 12. 🤔 If concepts are unclear, review previous papers. 13. 🧐 For conceptual mistakes, revise the concept on a priority basis and remember it. 14. **Silly Mistake**: From not being careful. 15. **Blunder Mistake**: From lack of knowledge. 16. **Conceptual Mistake**: If the same mistake is made after clearing the concept, it must be addressed seriously.
