GATE ECE 1995 | Question-16

Let $h(t)$ be the impulse response of a linear time invariant system. Then the response of the system for any input $u(t)$ is

  1. $\int_{0}^{t} h(\tau) u(t-\tau) d \tau$
  2. $\frac{d}{d t} \int_{0}^{t} h(\tau) u(t-\tau) d \tau$
  3. $\left[\int_{0}^{t} h(\tau) u(t-\tau) d \tau\right]$
  4. $\int_{0}^{t} h^{2}(\tau) u(t-\tau) d \tau$
